The one week celebration includes Infection Control Education sessions to the patients and among every department in the Hospital, Quiz and poster making competition related to the theme’s celebration, and giving-away free hand-sanitizers to the staff and patients during the week celebration.

The successful event ended with a flash mob and prize distribution to the winners of the competition, the Management also awarded the Medical and Non-Medical staff and housekeeping staff who is dedicated in promoting the Infection Control practices.

Medcare Hospital had celebrated the world health day on 7th of April by conducting a lifestyle check for all of visitors and patients as free of charge, checking blood pressure, sugar in blood and body fitness.

World Health Day is celebrated on 7th April to mark the anniversary of the founding of WHO in 1948. Each year a theme is selected for World Health Day that highlights a priority area of public health concern in the world. The theme for 2013 is high blood pressure.

The championship was held at the Umm Suqaim Girls High School on the 15th of January 2013 under the patronage of the UAE Taekwondo and Karate Federation.

We have been participating in the same event for the past 4 years and were able to extend our services successfully for the 5th year.

The tournament was held on the 25th and 26th January 2013 at the Sevens Stadium in Dubai. The event is the regions premier junior Rugby tournament hosting over 154 international teams and 2,400 players in all age groups.

Medcare, has extended its services with the establishment of a major multi-speciality clinic located on The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), Dubai. The new facility, will cater for residents and visitors in the upmarket Marina community and act as a referral centre for Medcare Hospital.

 Just before opening its doors to the first of its patients yesterday morning, Medcare Medical Centre (MMC) was officially inaugurated by Mr. Imad Namrawi, Director of Taziz Property Management Solutions, Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman, DM Healthcare and Medcare Hospital and Mr. Shamsuddin Bin Mohiyuddin, Director, Regency Group.

The launch of the new MMC clinic at JBR is the first milestone in Medcare’s 2012-2013 expansion strategy. The organisation is shortly to open a dedicated orthopaedic hospital located on the Sheikh Zayed Road and will continue its program with a number of satellite community clinics being established in other areas of Dubai over the next two years.
